Accounts PAYABLE GOODS specialist

Job summary :

As part of the Finance Team winner of Best Finance Team of the year 2019, you will be responsible for all incoming goods invoices, all contact with suppliers for finance related topics and all goods related vendor accounts.

Your responsibilities:


  • Active participation in ad hoc projects
  • Identification of areas of improvement within responsibility
  • Understanding of the different accounting flows
  • Back-up for colleagues within the finance team

Accounts payable goods specialist

  • Preparation, scanning and archiving of invoices
  • Recording of incoming invoices in VIM Workplace
  • Ensure correctness of invoices 
  • Treatment and analyses of blocked items in ERP supply system Gold
  • Reconciliation between ERP supply system and accounting system SAP
  • Analyses and reconciliation of vendor details and vendor balances
  • Be contact person towards vendors goods
  • Good understanding of the AP related processes from end-to-end

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • Conceptual understanding of ERP systems
  • At least two years’ experience is required in an equivalent function
  • Good Excel skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Team player and have ability to work independently
  • You are reliable and pro-active
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, English is an asset
