Accountant - Permanent Contract in Liege

For our client, Robert Half is looking for an Accountant for a permanent contract.

Our client is an international biotech company based headquartered in Liège.

Under the responsibility of the chief accountant, your responsibilities are as follows :

• Processing and encoding the invoices and making the follow-up
• Preparing the draft of the regular reports and organizing company records
• Preparing deposits, processing payments
• Responding to queries from internal and external customers
• Maintaining and updating company system with financial data
• Preparing tax and VAT forms
• Entering and coding financial transactions appropriately
• Performing budget versus actuals analysis

As Accountant, your qualifications are as follows :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• A first successful experience in an accounting environment is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
• Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically). Ax Dynamics skills are an asset
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• You're proactive, open minded and dynamic
