For one of our clients, a company manufacturing industrial latex goods, we are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead one of its international customer service departments.
As Team Manager, you are responsible for organizing the daily operation and policy within the key accounts customer service department. You have two team coordinators who act as your direct reports. Both of them manage a team of 8 people directly. One team is located in Belgium and the other one abroad. You report to the Director of the customer service department. On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for ensuring a good balance of people and resources. To do so, on the one hand, you coach and guide your employees by monitoring KPIs and SLAs. You coordinate and follow up on training courses for your team. On the other hand, you work on continuous process improvement, you monitor the cost and you try to implement optimization processes. You also take part in complex projects which extend to more than one market and department. This can be related to new ERP implementation, acquisition of new business, … You work hand in hand with the different departments such as credit and cash collection, logistic or sales & marketing.
For this position, you have at least a first experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate leads by example, has a strategic and analytical mindset. You are able to read figures and understand the impact on the business. You must have an excellent level of English; a strong knowledge of Dutch is considered as an asset. You have already worked with an ERP system and you have a good understanding of a product chain. Lastly, you pay attention to detail and you are able to work under pressure.
