Our client, a major player in the pharmaceutical field based in the Brussels area, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Medical Advisor Oncology.

As a Senior Medical Advisor Oncology, you will act as a bridge between research and commercial positions, interact with and develop enduring relationships with key opinion leaders on a national and regional level according to the company's franchise. You will be responsible for identifying the scientific and technical needs of the Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and commercial department. As a Senior Medical Advisor Oncology, you will also support the preparation of presentations by providing relevant scientific and medical content. You will participate in the delivery of these presentations and other non-promotional materials and you will be representing the company at meetings and educational programs. Furthermore, in your role as Senior Medical Advisor you will develop a medical strategy and tactical plan on national and regional level in close collaboration with your medical cluster colleagues on cluster activities and projects. You will communicate customer feedback on product development and life-cycle strategies and will be involved with some of the company's clinical research studies. You are going to be responsible for annual planning and continuous monthly monitoring of the medical budget including research projects and national projects and are going to take the leadership role in the national reimbursement submission process.

As Senior Medical Advisor Oncology, you hold a higher-level scientific background, preferably an MD degree or a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. You are an expert in the Medical Affairs field and have an in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic and market context. Next to this, you have proven skills in building and maintaining highly developed relationships with health care providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders in the customer influence network. You are a strong communicator in Dutch as well as in French and English willing to improve outcome of cancer patients.
