Develop and update on monthly basis an accurate sales forecast in SAP SCM (APO) aligned with the business plan

Job content

• Use extensively statistical models to predict demand

• Manage the information flow from Sales & Marketing to identify the underlying sales
  trends per product, and incorporate the effects of promotional/advertising activities in
  sales volume

• Contribute to (re)launches process to ensure the generation of an effective plan
  achieving a successful product introduction and a limited inventory

• Lead the local S&OP process

• Conduct monthly meetings with Sales & Marketing

• Review forecast performance vs plan, identify potential sources of forecast error and
  develop action plans to improve forecast accuracy

• Exchange information about new products/promotions/product listings and update
  forecasts in SCM (APO)

• Analyse sell in/out data and derive impact on sales forecast

• Participate actively in monthly executive management meeting to reach a consensus
  forecast and to identify potential gap with business plan

• Ensure efficient collaboration & communication with Supply planning to safeguard
  service level and limit inventory level

• Reach fixed targets on KPIs

• Maintain material masters in SAP systems

Profile

Profile

• Minimum bachelor up to master degree (business management, commercial sciences,
  supply chain ..) depending on person's potential

• Must have some years of relevant experience for the function and preferably with usage of SAP

• Quick learner

• Analytical mindset with ability to work with and interpret figures

• Good communication/negociation skills to enable efficient discussions with Sales,

• Pragmatic problem solver

• Dedicated performer

• Process oriented with link to ERP systems (SAP/SCM APO)

• Good master of MS softwares (excel, ppnt)

• Must be fluent in written & oral english
