Business / Plant Controller - Brussels

A rapidly growing US manufacturing company active in the Energy sector is looking for a Financial Associate with diverse tax, accounting, and finance experience.

Client Details

The Business Controller will develop the financial structure of their European expansion which will include a Belgian assembly plant (2020 start) and international sales offices.

Description

As Business Controller in a growing organization you will be responsible for financial modelling, development of internal controls and European financial management. You will be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Your role includes:

• Financial management of a European division planning to grow by €40 million over the next three years

• Development and management of financial processes with harmonized tools and dashboards

• Variance analysis with regular updates and adjustments of the financial plan

• Supervision of Accounting & Tax

• Identification and implementation of a new ERP system

• Monthly, quarterly & annual reporting to US management

• Being the primary financial point of contact internally and externally, which includes working closely with banks, government, customers, and other divisions

• Responsibility for IT

Profile

Working in a leading company in an international environment as Business Controller you will present a certain set of skills and experience:

• Master's degree in Business Management, Business Engineering or Economics -Or equivalent qualification

• At least 6 years of relevant experience (eg: Big4/Big3 + Business Controlling). Experience in the electromechanical manufacturing sector is a plus

• Perfect command of English & Dutch (written & spoken) -Other languages including French, Norwegian, German, and Italian are a plus

• You are proactive and have the entrepreneurial spirit, you are self-motivated and not afraid to take initiative

• You want to take part in a new project

• You can work in team and have excellent communication skills

• You are solution minded and improvement oriented
