QA Officer

Job description

Under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer (CQO):

• You are in charge of maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Company according to the ISO 9001 & EN 9100 standards.
• You make sure that quality requirements and expectations that apply, as expressed by customers but also driven by safety, legal and regulatory requirements, are met at all stages of the activities.
• You carry out internal audits, as well as audits of suppliers and subcontractors, possibly abroad.
• You assist, guide and support the Project/Production Managers (PM), coordinating the Quality Assurance activities with focus on OTD and OQD
• You participate in the qualification (acceptance test report, first article inspection…) and/or certification (CE marking, special processes…) of new products and ensure the conformity of products before shipment (final control, signature of certificates of conformity…).
• You supervise incoming inspections, in close collaboration with the PM.
• You qualify suppliers and subcontractors and keep qualifications up to date.
• You participate in external audit from customers and certifier and follow established action plans.
• You follow the treatment of non-conformities (NC) at products, system and processes levels
• You manage the calibrations of the measuring devices and their replacement.

Profile

• You hold a Master degree in engineering (industrial or civil engineer) or a Master of Science (physics) with strong expertise in practical problems.
• You have a first experience (2+ years) in Project or Product Assurance in a high-tech environment, or you have a practical experience in the aerospace (EN 9100) standard and would be willing to move towards Project/Product Assurance.
• You are quality focused, rigorous but pragmatic and resistant to stress.
• You are a key team player, with excellent communication skills, and are able to reach a consensus but impact on decisions.
• You have excellent knowledge (written and oral) in English and French languages.
• You are ready to move for short-term missions abroad.
• A first experience in the Aerospace/Security sectors and/or knowledge of the ESA standards (ECSS) would be an advantage.
• Extended knowledge in CE marking and/or MIL-STD standards is a definite “plus”.
