Senior Transport Coordinator - Chemical Plant

For our client, a thriving global player within the chemical industry, we're looking for a Senior Transport Coordinator that will take the lead in continuously improving anything regarding transport.

Description

• The Senior Transport Coordinator will mainly focus on export related cases of the Ghent manufacturing plant.

• You will have to identify and improve opportunities to reduce lead times, freight costs and general transport cost savings.

• Coordinate shipments from A-Z and be familiar with problem solving and risk mitigation.

• You will become a logistics business partner by utilizing effective & proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• In the future, you will grow towards a coach and mentor of a small team.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor or Master's in an Economic or other relevant field.

• You have relevant experience in import and export.

• Strong knowledge of dangerous goods / relevant documents / different transport modalities.

• Specific insights regarding logistics in Middle East area is a plus.

• English is a must, Dutch and French are a plus.
