As a Strategic Purchasing Expert, you will be responsible for all orders within the organization and manage the relationship with the suppliers.

Description

Position - Strategic Purchasing Manager

• You deal with all tje planning of purchasing of goods
• You negotiate promotions, prices, new products, volume, delivery…
• You stay in close contact with suppliers to remain up-to-date with any important information and to build strong long-lasting relationship with them
• You put in place purchasing strategies in order to improve process and cost
• You conduct trend analysis and make sure inventory is optimal
• You stay aware of the market trends and changing legislations
• You examine potential opportunities for the business to purchase specific products and ensure distribution is done correctly to the correct warehouses

Profile

Profile - Strategic Purchasing Manager

• You have relevant experience in the Purchasing/Supply Chain area
• You speak Dutch, English and French
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a Purchasing role
• You have technical affinity and can relate to industrial products
• You have experience in a strategic improvement within purchasing
• You are strategic, operational and don't mind working autonomously as well as in team
• You have strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
