Accounting & Treasury Manager - Brussels

Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently looking for an Accounting & Treasury Manager for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the real estate sector.

As Accounting & Treasury Manager you will be responsible for:

• Perform Day-to-Day Accounting of multiple legal entities;
• You will manage the quarterly and yearly closing activities;
• Perform Analytical Accounting of building projects;
• You are responsible for the VAT and tax declarations;
• Prepare Quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliations;
• As senior accountant you will be the SPOC person for the accounting process for the group;
• Liaise with the Controlling department as well as the development team:
• Issuance and follow-up of bank guarantees;
• Optimisation and active management of the banking structure;
• Analysis and monitoring of bank charges;
• Optimisation of intercompany relations;
• Cash reporting;
• Cash management;
• Leasecontract management;
• Follow-up of different forms of financing (leasing, straight loan, ...);
• Back-up during the execution of the weekly payment runs.

You will report to the Head of Accounting and Consolidation.

The required profile for the Accounting & Treasury Manager position:

• Bachelor's in accounting;
• 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant function (international preferably);
• Good knowledge of local GAAP;
• Good knowledge of Navision is a plus;
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French;
• Able to set priorities in an agile environment;
• You possess excellent organizational skills;
• You have a critical mindset and like to challenge the status quo;
• You are a team player and foster open communication;
• You are IT literate.
