For an international relocation services company acting as an SME in Belgium, we are recruiting a Head of Finance who will manage a team of 5 persons (accounting & controlling) with a Benelux scope.

Client Details

Our client is an international relocation services company headquartered in the UK.

Their Benelux headquarters are located in Zaventem. The company is acting as an SME in Belgium, with a 10 M€ turnover (in Benelux).

In order to develop their finance department, we are looking for a new Head of Finance Benelux.


The Head of Finance is responsible for the proper management of the financial department of the group's Benelux entities and supervises a team of 5 people.

He / she will directly report to the General Manager (Benelux) and the Group CFO.

His / her main tasks will consist in :

  • Managing the 3 entities (Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg) from a financial perspective, representing a 10 M€ turnover;
  • Leading the finance team composed of 5 persons (accounting & controlling);
  • Preparing the annual statutory accounts & tax returns;
  • Making the budgets & forecasts together with the General Manager;
  • Providing clear and accurate financial & performance reporting to the Group;
  • Being in charge of the treasury & cash flow management;
  • Acting as a Business Partner for the different departments (Operations, Sales, HR);
  • Implementing and maintaining efficient internal controls;
  • Liaising with the external auditors regarding the annual statutory & tax audits;
  • Participating to the optimization of financial processes and reporting tools.


The ideal Head of Finance will match the following criteria :

  • Master's degree in Finance / Business Administration / Management;
  • Minimum 5 years of financial experience in accounting & controlling;
  • People management experience and great team spirit mindset;
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch, with a good knowledge of the other language;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team;
  • Hands-on mentality.
