In order to strengthen its financial department, is my Belgian client looking for a Junior Accountant

Client Details

My client is a Belgian fast-growing start-up, active in the green transport sector. they are located in the centre of Brussels (easily reachable by public transport).

Description

• Daily accounting operations
• Suppliers' expenses
• AR Accounting: invoicing & billing
• Help for monthly closings & the preparation of financial reports;
• Reporting
• Preparation of the annual audit;
• SPOC with customer service for invoices issues;
• Handling ad-hoc requests as needed

Profile

• 1 to 2 years experience as Accountant, Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or recent graduate in Finance or Accounting
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Fluent in English & French
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good team player
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to learn and develop their career in a start-up environment
