Client Details
Our client is one of the world's leading partners in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The company operates worldwide with 10,000 employees and generates a turnover of 1.4 billion euros.
Their product portfolio includes pharmaceutical packaging and drug administration products, among others with manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe and North and South America
The Belgian site produces and markets glass bottles for perfumery and cosmetics, intended for the whole world. The company is one of the major employers of the Hainaut region with more than 700 jobs and a turnover of €88m.
In order to sustain their constant growth, they are currently looking for a new Area Sales Manager to meet the clients needs and make sure the growth objectives stays right on track.
Description
As the successful Area Sales Manager - Glass Packaging, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensures it's strong presence
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Management of customer demand and demand analysis
- Management of stock level and especially old stock
- Follow up of the invoicing and overdue invoices
- Develop customer relationship by developing pillars such as competitiveness, CSR, innovation, quality and supply chain and define a roadmap for each pillar
- Travel & visit client on regular basis - up to 2 weeks every Quarter.
Profile
As the successful Area Sales Manager - Glass Packaging, you will have the following requirements:
- Master degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience in area sales responsibilities - ideally on international level
- At least 3 years of prior experience in the industrial field - preferably within packaging
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Speaking French and English fluently - ideally a good command of German
- A conductor with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to travel at least 3 days/week to the office based in the south of Hainaut
- Ambition to work on the international level with multiple travels abroad
