Omschrijving

  • Ensure timely completion of inventory accounting tasks and controls such as account reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, and other inventory accounting related SOX controls
  • Proactively follow up with internal stakeholders on outstanding items
  • Follow-up on adhoc queries from internal customers
  • Assist and participate to transfer pricing activities such as costing exercises, transfer pricing calculations, checking on margins and profitability of local markets, transfer pricing setting activities for manufacturers and commercial markets, etc.
  • Develop / share best practices

  • Keep working instructions up to date
  • Participate in technology initiatives that improve your every day tasks (e.g., robotics, automation, etc)

Profiel van kandidaat

  • Languages: Fluent in English (spoken/written), Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding the basics of accounting is a must
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and able to use Excel quickly - comfortable with "big data", Excel formulas, Excel shortcuts, and how to leverage Excel to efficienty complete monthly tasks
  • Affinity with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) is a plus
  • A "run it like you own it" attitude
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment
  • High level of accuracy, structured and organized
  • Accounting knowledge is a must
  • Work independently and take initiative
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
