Accountemps is currently looking for a Senior Accountant (M/F/X) for one of our clients.

Our client, an international company active in the retail sector, is located in the south of Brussels.

As a Senior Accountant, you will directly report to the Finance Manager and will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly & yearly closing as well as other periodic tasks;
• Preparation and submission of the VAT declarations;
• Preparation of the packages of the local accounting for the consolidation team abroad;
• Preparation of the Corporate income tax;
• Accounting part of the payroll;
• In charge of the payment of the invoices;
• Point of contacts for the audit;
• Participate to the implementation of new tools (ERP, ...);

Your profile for the position as Senior Accountant:

• You have a bachelor in Accountancy and relevant experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role;
• You have a prefect knowledge of French and a good command of English;
• You have a thorough knowledge of General accounting;
• You have a good knowledge of Excel and/or Google sheet;
• You are a team player and at ease with numbers;
• You have an eye for detail and finish tasks accurately;
• You love to work in a fast-paced environment.
