Finance & Administration Manager - Brussels

Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently looking for a Finance & Administration Manager for a permanent position based in Evere (Brussels).

Our client is a fast growing company part of a Worldwide Leader in its field and active in the audiovisual industry.

Based in Evere ( Brussels), the Finance & Administration Manager will be reporting locally to the CEO and in parallel to the Group Controller.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising a junior accountant;
• In charge of General & cost accounting;
• In charge of cash management & treasury along with the finance team;
• Responsible for improving profitability and plan financial strategy;
• Assisting in driving the company's financial planning;
• Responsible for budgets and forecasts;
• Responsible of the reporting and consolidation;
• Prepare the account statements, the audits, the annual board meetings and the tax reports for both entities;
• Responsible of the purchase processes (P2P);
• Ensure respect of norms and legal rules by all collaborators.

The required profile for the Finance & Administration Manager position:

• A Master's or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance;
• A minimum of 4 -5 years of experience in a similar role. Several years of experience within a Big 4 would represent a strong asset;
• The Finance & Administration Manager should have a global understanding of Belgian accounting rules and should be open to learn other Gaap's specificities (UK, US GAAP);
• A good to very good experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting processes will be very useful;
• A good user level in Excel is a must combined with experience on accounting tools;
• Very good level in oral and written French & English;
• Ready to take ownership for a very varied role.
