For our client, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Director (m/f/x).

Our client is part of an international industrial group with HQ located in Liege.

The Finance & Administration Director will be responsible of the accomplishment of the company objectives and strategies. He will support the management team by defining milestones and providing objective data. All his efforts should be based on real business needs and agreed objectives and strategies of the local company and should always be executed in a useful, efficient, team-oriented and flexible way, according to the principles of the group. The F&A Director will act as the right hand of the Plant Manager and will supervise a team of 2 people (accounting).

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to :

  • Maintain, improve and make use of the methods and systems for :
    • Planning
    • Reporting
    • Decision supporting
    • Measurement of performance and variance analysis
    • Profitability
  • Ensure compliance with legal, fiscal and group obligations
  • Review and improve business processes
  • Provide process support
  • Act as key partner in the implementation of SAP
  • Give a conclusive and consistent picture of the economic situation of the company :
    • Check & analyze important internal and external factors of influence for the economic development
    • Use the methods and systems of cost controlling to identify risks and investigate alternatives
    • Build adequate reporting tools in accordance with local needs,
  • Perform Controlling tasks : Stock valuation, discuss and challenge managers regarding discrepancies identifed, KPI analysis, Cost control, manage the entire budget and reforecast process

  • University degree in economics
  • At least 5 years of proven track record in a finance management function
  • SAP experience would be an asset
  • Perfectly speak French, English
  • Strong people management skills

  • Strong leadership skills with clear solution orientation
  • High self-motivator, initiative taker, proactive thinker
