SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (M/F)

POSITION : DEXIA SA (holding) – Accounting - Brussels

Main responsabilities :

• Preparation of periodical accounting closings
• Back-office for treasury management and payments
• Back-up of the person in charge of the recording of purchase invoices and bank transactions
• Preparation of clients invoices, recording and follow up
• Follow up of fixed assets
• Preparing financial statements and reporting to National Bank of Belgium (NBB)
• Prepare annual report (statutory accounts) for publication
• Full management of accounting of small French subsidiaries (dormant, few operations)
• Prepare annual report (statutory accounts) for publication for those subsidiaries
• Preparation of consolidation package for group reporting
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions with other group companies
• Participation to the preparation of the budget and follow up on a monthly basis
• Comparison between budget and reporting + comments for group Management control
• Follow up of tax situation of Dexia sa (filing and previsions)
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Responses to requests of NBB, other regulators and to requests from other Dexia departments in relation with accounting matters
• Contacts with external auditors

Profile :

• Minimum diploma required: bachelor's degree in accounting
• Experience of at least 5 years in general accounting (full management)
• Common use of Word / Excel software
•  Knowledge of accounting software, if possible BOB50 - ACCON
• Rigorous, analytical and logical mind
• Teamspirit
• Knowledge of Dutch and English
• Knowledge of SAP - FC (consolidation reporting) is an asset
