As Business Development Manager you will have to develop the German market from scratch.
You will have a both hunting & farming role.

The company is active in more than 50 countries & represents more than 7000 collaborators.
The company is growing - it is the reason why they are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the German market.
As Business Development Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop new business in the German market
- Have a focus on various type of clients such as Corporate companies, Universities, public sector
- Manage sales cycles from 2 to 18 months depending on the client
- Identify, develop & maintain strong relationships with your clients
- Develop the entry plan into the German market & drive sustainable growth
- Have a strategic approach
- Develop new universities to support future organisation's members
- Develop & follow Kpi's
- Closely work with the marketing team
- Manage both a hunting & farming role - you will ensure a strong & long-term relationships with your clients
- Identify up/cross sales opportunities
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Fluent in German & English is mandatory
- Strong experience in sales
- Experience working with corporate companies from services sector, education sector
- Hunting profile - you will develop new business from scratch
- Farming profile - you will develop & maintain strong & long-term relationships with your clients
- Ability to manage sales cycles (from 2 to 18 months) from the very beginning till the closing of the deal
- Excellent communication & presentation
- Open-minded, autonomous & "self starter" profile
- Experience working remotely - your colleague are mostly based in other European countries
- Ability to travel to meet clients
- Strategic & analytical mindset
