Technicien instrumentation et calibration

One of our customer located in Tubize is currently looking for an instrumentation and calibration technician who will report to the Head of Test Engineering.

The technician is responsible to manage contact with calibration and repair service suppliers of all types of equipment.

This role is for a hands-on person with great versatility with regard to manage tasks described below:

Main Responsibilities:

· Managing the inventory of control, measurement and testing equipment

• Follow up and update the status of the metrology database
• Remove, mount test equipment from test set ups and racks (Some equipment can be heavy)
• Organize the shipment to the calibrator

· Giving support in managing the computer park

· Perform ESD verification on all ESD tables and shelves (more than 500 separate items on site)

· Accurately documents work

· Deployment of the InVirtus platform (geolocation of standard test equipment)

· Give, punctually, support to the test department by performing test on electronics subassemblies

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

· The candidate should be fluent in French or Dutch, and have good knowledge in English

Knowledge and skills

· Knowledge of Metrology standards for calibration and ESD (ISO9001, IEC 61340-1)

· Experience in managing calibrations / laboratory including test equipment

· Microsoft office (Word, VISIO, Excel, Access)

· Autonomy

· Versatility and flexibility

· Rigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitments

· Team spirit and communication skills

· Related experience in an RF electronic testing

· Demonstrate knowledge of RF test equipment an measurement equipment
