My client is a european company operating in the field of electronics components. providing businesses with the lastest technologies they are the partner of a wide variety of companies when designing sustainable mobility solutions, lighting solutions and many more.

Thanks to the substantial growth in business generated by agile working during the Covid crisis, the company is now able to expand its activities to new business lines.

Having carefully managed their electronics components stocks, they are now able to take advantage of the market situation and high demand levels to launch their business line targeting industrial environments.

As Account Manager Belgium, you are in charge of the launch of the Industrial & Automation business line.

You can base yourself on the existing CRM, the existing industrial clients, the support of your manager as well as your own experience to create the right strategy to approach this market.

Approaching potential clients, identifying their needs and building up long-term relationships with them is your operational goal. But you are also expected to participate to the strategic thinking and help build the right approach and/or the right team to successfully manage this market segment.


The successful candidate will meet the following criteria :

  • Fluency in Dutch & French - essential to meet clients throughout Belgium, work with a bilingual Belgian team and report to the Dutch head management
  • Minimum 4 years of technical sales experience, preferably in industrial environment
  • A strong interest - if no past experience - for electronic components : you are already at ease or would like to develop a strong knowledge in a niche market segment and all technical applications of your products
  • A driven mindset : the opportunity is yours to transform into a success. Take the lead in initiating strong commercial actions, be proactive in exploring new business opportunities, make yourself a qualitative reputation among clients and create yourself the growth perspectives that fit your ambitions.
