Warehouse Administrative Operator

The role of the Warehouse Administrative Operator is to register the documents and data required for monitoring physical inflows and outflows within the warehouse.

Our client is an international company active in the logistics sector.

Description

• Retrieve, assemble and check the delivery documents
• Draw up the documents and/or enter the information required for the proper execution of the designated services in the information system, in accordance with the rules in effect
• Record information relating to all the movements performed at the warehouse using the available resources

• Reconcile documents forwarded by the warehouse operator with documents received beforehand (acceptance, or loading into a transportation unit), and then update the data in the system
• In the event of a discrepancy in the reconciliation, launch the action plan required in accordance with established procedures
• Inform operations and/or the customer in the event of discrepancies
• Be responsible for data quality within his functions

• Plan & Draw up the driver's assignment orders
• Remain in permanent contact with the drivers

• Take part in the warehouse activities
• Feed the information required back to their line management
• Report on the activities.
• Analyze the errors, and facilitate the closure of the dispute

Profile

• Knowledge of the various modes of transport and their technical requirements
• Knowledge of safety rules to be respected in a warehouse
• Knowledge of transport regulations
• Fluent Dutch
