The client is looking for an Advertising & Communication Specialist - Eye wear sector - Retail to join his team in Brussels.

Client Details

The company is a well known player in the Retail - Eye wear. From decades, they are at the service of premium quality, design and best services. With more than 50 points of sales across Belgium, they are looking for someone to take up the advertising & communication scope on a national level but also for all the points of sales.

You will report to Paris where the guidelines are coming. You role will be to translate and adapt it in Belgium. You will also work closely with the Digital & Social Media expert based in Belgium.


The Advertising & Communication Specialist - Eye wear sector - Retail will be in charge of the following tasks:

National advertising:

  • Planning and implementation of the advertising calendar
  • Purchase of national media (TV, radio, OLV etc.)
  • Post production of spots (TV, radio, OLV)
  • Budgeting of "global" advertising plans in Flanders (within the goal of raising brand awareness)
  • Adaptation of POS visuals and modalities of national campaigns to be implemented (+ translation) for Belgium and Luxembourg
  • Implementation of direct marketing campaigns (adaptation of the campaign carried out in France)
  • Preparation / adaptation of advertising material within the framework of CRM (paper mailings etc.)
  • Press relations - coordination with communication agency:
    • Creation of newsletters
    • Monitoring and reporting of Press Days
    • Compilation of the press review
    • Validation of influencer collaborations on social media, TV hosts etc. (in connection with the Digital & Social Media Specialist)
  • Realization of info-communications (advertising / PR); and competition analysis

Management of local stores advertising:

  • Carrying out local actions, communication plans for store openings and other specific actions:
    • Media choice and purchase (local press, radio, all-box distribution etc.)
    • Creation and monitoring of material production
    • Follow up of digital communication at the local level (in connection with the Digital & Social Media Specialist)

Social Media:

  • Budget validation
  • Validation of the editorial calendar when it differs from Paris headquarters, via the Digital & Social Media Specialist

Administrative tasks :

  • Encoding of purchase orders for national advertising
  • Signature of invoices
  • Encoding of campaigns and media budgets in the international calendar
  • Discount invoicing: encoding of purchase orders
  • Monitoring of budgets at the local level


  • Master degree in Marketing & communication or related field
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good expertise in advertising and communication
  • Organized, pro active, operational
  • Excellent communication
  • Affinity with Retail Fashion Eye wear sector
  • Fluent in French and Dutch
