For one of our customers active in the FMCG sector and located in the center of Brussels, we are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist

Client Details

Our customer is a global company active in the FMCG sector having presence in more than 90 countries. The company employs more than 18000 people worldwide. For its Belgian office based in Brussels, we are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist who will oversee, manage and administer employee's rewards, perks and benefits.

Description

As Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You execute monthly payroll in collaboration with the external Payroll provider and are in charge of the compensation and benefits policy
  • You manage pension plan and health insurance solutions for staff members
  • You work on salary optimization programs and create a compensation guideline that matches people needs and organizational culture
  • You keep abreast with new trends and best practices in your field
  • You ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with local legislation and regulations
  • You conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports
  • You act as contact person for HR related questions and provide administrative support to employees
  • You make sure personnel information stays up to date
  • You handle work permits deliverance and manage contractual documentation
  • You support and work closely with the Regional HR Business Partner on several HR projects (employee survey, Bonus optimization, Flexibility policy, Health & Safety, Labor law...)

Profile

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- You hold a Bachelor Degree in relevant field (Business administration, human resources...)

- You have more than 3 years of experience in payroll and salary administration

- You have a good knowledge of the Belgian social legislation

- You are fluent in French, Dutch and English

- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills

- You have a hands-on mentality and can show facilitation skills

- Any experience with Workday is considered as a plus
