Our client is a Belgian investment company looking to strengthen its Legal Team with a Paralegal that will be in contact with internal and external stakeholders and report to the Head of Legal and CFAO.

Our client, a Belgian investment company, is looking for a Paralegal to strenghten its team in Brussels.

Description

As Corporate Paralegal, you are part of the Legal Team and report to the Head of Legal and CFAO. You will work closely with other internal stakeholders (Executive Comittee, Investment Managers, etc.) and external stakeholders (such as lawyers, notaries, public authorities). Your main responsibilities consist in:

Following-up on the signatures of contracts and other legal documentation and ensure correct filing of such documentationAssisting in the governance of the company and its subsidiairies Assisting the Legal team concerning KPI reportingHandling KYC documentation with regard to the investments made by the company and/or its subsidiairiesAssisting the Legal Team with the legal matters related to the Board of Directors and other specialised boardsCoordinating and verifying translations

Profile

As Corporate Paralegal,

You have a Bachelor in Law or at least 5 years of professional experience (previous experience in a law firm is a plus)You have a good knowledge of corporate and financial lawYou have excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and a good knowledge of the other national language and EnglishYou like to learn, are flexible and are open to change.You are detail oriented and solution orientedYou work independently but also have a strong team spirit.
