Our client is the leader on the market and the number one reference within the sector. Today, they are looking for a Category Manager to join their team.

Description

As Category Manager you will have the following tasks :

• You will be responsible of optimizing the sales areas and the profitability both at micro and macro level
• You are aware of the latest trends and our competitors on the market

Micro level :

• You strive for optimal profitability per square meter for each product family
• You are in charge of the selection of the products
• You organize the shelves to ensure an optimal POS in collaboration with the Product Managers
• In collaboration with the Marketing Department you ensure an attractive presentation and communication of our products in store

Macro level :

• You will be in charge of the implementation of a planning for the entire store to obtain an optimal profitability per square meter based on analysis
• You will help us to build commercial spaces when opening or remodeling stores

Profile

The successful candidate has the following profile :

• You have a perfect command of Dutch AND French
• You have a relevant Bacherlor or Master's degree
• You have already a first experience as merchandiser or category manager
• You have good commercial and communication skills
• You work fluently with programs (excel, SAP)
• You have an analytical mindset
