My client is a Belgian company operating since the 90s in the field of Retail & Events.

More specifically they partner with malls, shopping centres, hotels and other public venues across Europe for creating magical experience for the public around the theme of Christmas.

Decoration, lighting, equipment - everything that is needed to create the magic is to be carefully booked, planned and delivered by my client a longtime in advance.

Description

As Marketing & Communication coordinator, you partner up directly with the director of the structure.

Your responsibility ? Translating the needs of the business in marketing & communication supports : the website, the catalogues, the emailing, the social medias, content, the events, the internal communication, the web shop etc - you'll have plenty of ways to take initiatives, express your own ideas and try out new things.

The company collaborates with a design agency that you are in charge of monitoring.

You are expected not only to strive in Marketing & Communication but to also take an active part to the life of the company - teaming up with the sales to get better market insight, taking part to the reflection about the company strategy, etc.

Profile

The successful candidate will have

• A first marketing & Communication experience - you have enough skills and experience to evolve comfortably with some level of autonomy

• Fully fluent in French & English, Dutch would be a really nice to have

• Some digital Marketing skills - without being a graphist nor a copywriter, you have enough knowledge to efficiently monitor the work of the agency and pick up some digital related tasks yourself

• As important as skills for this company is the attitude : someone with enthusiasm, the will the learn, not afraid to take initiatives and come up with creative ideas is essential to fit within the team
