Description

Main responsibilities include :

• Pay suppliers within the contractual timeframe

• Propose, analyze and approve payment alternatives

• Anticipate payments and participate in payment planning (cash management)

• Accurate and active follow-up of exchanges with suppliers

• Organize and ensure payments

• Customer/supplier balance

• Blocking of payments (management of signals)

• React to supplier bankruptcy

• React to legal files in collaboration with the legal department

• Point of contact for AP Accounting with internal and external auditors

Profile

The ideal candidate :

• Fluent in Dutch with excellent French OR Fluent in French with excellent Dutch
  
  
• At least 7 years of experience in a GL / Senior Accountant position
  
  
• At least 2 years of experience in a team leader / managerial position
  
  
• Critical thinker and able to challenge processes and suggest improvements
  
  
• Excellent communication skills
