Senior Business Controller (m-f-x)

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Business Controller for a permanent position based in Vilvoorde.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the security sector.

As Senior Business Controller you will be responsible for:

• Reporting monthly management information: writing narratives, data input of the monthly figures in BPC, drawing up the Managing Director report, making presentations for Macom & Groep, custom-made reports for the BU's and operational departments.
• Analyzing & checking financial data: detailed analysis of the Work in Progress (if applicable), verifying consistencies between actuals, budget and forecast, posting the monthly closings, checking certain domains of accounting for consistency, analyzing the commissions, drawing up a cost price model for different activities, profitability analysis of the segments, customers and products.
• Drawing up budgets and forecasts: drawing up and filling in budget templates, consolidation of figures, quality control of the figures, analysis of the variations between forecast and budget for the next financial year.
• Thanks to a smooth interaction, work closely with the Business Units for which you are responsible.
• Contribute to certain projects within the company and within the department, by providing financial data and analyses.
• Provide financial and economic data to the works council.

The required profile for the Senior Business Controller position:

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Commercial Sciences, Economics.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (FI/CO), SAPBW, COPA and BPC (outlooksoft).
• Very good knowledge MS Office.
• At least 5 years of experience with Business Controlling.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and project accounting.
• Trilingual: NL/FR/ENG.
• Analytical, flexible, stress resistant (respect for deadlines/closings).
• Be able to deal flexibly with ad hoc questions from the Group in addition to the general tasks.
• Honest, team player, autonomous, accurate and disciplined.
