Job Description

You will:

  • Support the sector group manager in management and advocacy activities
    • ull; Support to strategic engagement on key policy files and with policy makers
    • ull; Manage Task Forces or sub-groups/activities of some sector groups
    • ull; Prepare draft activity reports containing a summary of communication analytics, event, media outreach, and
    publication (twice a year or quarterly, depending on the sector group needs)
    • ull; Manage the Sector Group’s Website & Social Media, Activity report, Newsletter, monitor statistics as part of
    the sector groups communication Strategy
    • ull; Publish news items and newsletters, create visuals in Canva and post items in Hootsuite for LinkedIn & Twitter
    • ull; Manage the library of relevant information for the members

    Job Requirements

    The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who demonstrates the following experience and competencies:

    • ull; A bachelor’s degree in Office Management or similar.
    • ull; At least 4 years of work experience, preferably as an assistant at senior management level
    • ull; Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • ull; Proficiency in IT, web management and social media skills
    • ull; Excellent level of English, written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
    • ull; Full proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • ull; Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
    • ull; Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
    • ull; Understanding of underlying issues and proactively developing and evaluating solutions
    • ull; Understanding and ability to identify key actors, decision-influencers.
    • ull; Has an excellent understanding of Cefic membership

    • ull; A good team player who is able to work independently.
    • ull; Curious, fast learning and willing to improve continuously.
    • ull; Can anticipate potential problems and develop strategies to prevent them dependant on the situation or the

    person.

    • ull; Focused and the ability to work constructively under stress and pressure.
    • ull; Clear understanding of the priorities, motivations and issues of others across the organisation
    • ull; Has a good understanding of customer needs and expectations and is skilled in resolving difficult situations?
    • ull; Takes responsibility for continuously improving customer service within the scope of his/her experience.
