German Accountant - Zaventem

The German speaking Accountant will be part of the Accounting team (8 people) and will manage the A to Z accounting activities for the German entity.

Our client is an industrial company active internationally.

In order to support their development and the creation of their Shared Service Center in Belgium, we are currently recruiting an Accountant who will be responsible for the A to Z accounting activities of their German entity.

Their offices are located in Zaventem.

Description

Accountant (German speaking) - Industrial company - Zaventem

In the context of the creation of a Shared Service Center, the Accountant Germany will be part of the accounting team composed of 8 people managing different countries and will report to the Group Accounting Manager.

The Accountant will be in charge of the A to Z accounting which consists in :

• Booking the sales & purchases invoices in the ERP
• Preparing the payments (purchases) and following-up on the issues invoices (sales)
• Being in charge of the General ledger accounting (provisions, fixed assets, payroll, banks, …)
• Being responsible for the analytical accounting (preparation of the analytical result)
• Working closely with the external accounting firm for the preparation of the Tax declaration
• Acting as a point of contact with the external audit firm for the preparation of the annual accounts
• Managing the relations with the external payroll service provider.

Profile

Accountant (German speaking) - Industrial company - Zaventem

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Good knowledge of the accounting processes & flows
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• Fluency in German. Knowledge of French, Dutch or English is a plus
• Proactive, autonomous and willing to learn
• Team player.
