(Junior) Supply Chain Planner

The (Junior) Supply Chain Planner needs to anticipate bottlenecks and maintain stock levels to ensure the business runs smoothly. He/she is the link between Logistics & Production and analyses all relevant data to support the decision making process of other departments.

Description

The (Junior) Supply Chain Planner needs to anticipate bottlenecks and maintain stock levels to ensure the business runs smoothly. You are the link between Logistics & Production and analyses all relevant data to support the decision making process of other departments.

Tasks:

• Sales planning of the products: permanently optimise the operational rolling forecast in alignment with the Sales & Marketing departments;
• Stock planning of the products: optimise product stock levels with regard to cost- and delivery service criteria;
• Purchasing of products: determine volumes, ordering, goods receipt, invoicing;
• Monthly presence in the different Business Team meetings;
  
• Create inventory reports and make suggestions to the Supply Chain Manager;
  
• Coordinate inventories: postings and control;
  
• Master data management in SAP R/3: product data, suppliers, info records;
  
• Administer & handle displays;
  
• Pallet management;
  
• Supply Chain Reporting: analyse & report all Supply Chain related issues;

Profile

We are looking for a (Junior) Supply Chain Planner that :

• has a Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration
• 1 to 3 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management
• fluent in French and Dutch, English
• IT skills : excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP is a big plus.
• has to be analytical, accurate and has great communicative attitude, demonstrating a 'continuous improvement' mindset
