Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide analysis of results and support decision making processes –
— Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
— Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
— Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
— Ensure analysis is provided to management in a clear manner and on a timely basis in order to facilitate the decision-making process
— Provide analytical, quantitative and financial modeling assistance in support of the company objectives in the areas of decision support and historical analysis
— Timely develop and deliver pro-active and insightful analysis of a variety of past and forecasted results to European operating management
— Identify associations between seemingly independent events to recognize trends in financial forecasts, problems before they arise and possible cause-effect relationships
— Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
— Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
— Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
— Communicate results clearly in both verbal and written formats to European and the company global management
· Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting –
— Participate and coordinate with the Finance Teams the Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan cycles
— Coordinate and manage all phases of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process including interaction with European staff and management
— Act as the key focal point for the preparation of consolidated budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis reports in the context of annual and quarterly forecasting
— Analyze budget and forecast rollups and recommend budget/forecast changes, particularly related to working capital, sales, product costs, and SG&A
— Develop and maintain tools for the budgeting and forecasting of product cost and SG&A as necessary
— Perform financial modeling in support of financial planning
— Establish forecasting assumptions and provide guidance to assist local staff in completing forecasting and budgeting and provide direction and support to local teams as required
· Support
— Work closely with the local Accounting Team and collaborate on closing activities, and help anticipate material impacts to the company’s financials
— Lead the documentation and continuous improvement of assigned processes
— Provide information and support to auditors as required
— Coordinate multiple requests and projects as assigned from time to time by the FP&A Manager, Europe
— Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time
Functie-eisen
Education:
· Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Job-Related Experience Expected:
· 2-5 years of experience in accounting and /or financial planning and analysis in a global operation of over $200 million in sales.
Technical Skills:
· Strong data analysis and presentation skills including proficiency in Excel, and generally in all of the Microsoft Office Suite
· Working knowledge of ERP software, SAP preferred
· Proven knowledge of US/European GAAP is a plus
· Fluent in English language, other European Languages is a plus

Availability:
Available to work on site and eligible and available for occasional domestic and international travel, as required by job from time to time
