Aegean Airlines is looking for his Key Account Manager Benelux to join his team in Belgium. (It's a stand alone position).

In June 2018 AEGEAN signed an agreement with Airbus, ordering up to 42 new generation aircraft of the A320neo family. The new aircraft facilitate new services for passengers, as well as increased range capabilities, enabling expansion to new destinations and markets.

Description

The Key Account Manager Benelux will report to the International Sales Manager and will be in charge of the following mains responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in order to achieve optimum BENELUX flown revenue
  • Responsible for Key Account Management in BENELUX markets
  • Pro-active Sales management to grow business and exceed targets
  • Accurate communication flow between markets and HO
  • Focus on high potential (existing and new) Key Accounts

More in details:

  • Define the overall country strategy, in line with company strategy. Set up Objectives and quarterly Key Results (OKRs) to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and execute local markets OKRs to ensure new business development.
  • Manage own customer portfolio of Key Accounts in BENELUX markets.
  • Interface between Head Office) and local markets.
  • Complete all back-office activities in an organized and professional manner.
  • Follow company processes whilst looking to increase efficiency.
  • Personal maintenance of existing and development of new Key Account relationships (tour operators, consolidators, travel agencies, corporations) in BENELUX markets.
  • Monitor and control cost of sale and all sales activities, including the quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date information in the CRM, at all times.
  • Execute sales actions as defined in OKRs and monitor the outcome/results.
  • Implement seasonal and tactical actions to steer low and shoulder periods.
  • Annual incentive negotiations with Key Account trade partners to increase revenue.
  • Ensure reports are sent on regular basis.
  • Evaluate the success of sales actions, incentive contracts and allocation agreements.
  • Participation at BAR, Star Alliance meetings, etc, Represent the company at public and trade events

It's a stand alone position, working from home with regular client's visits.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3-4 years of Sales experience in the Tourism, travel, airlines industries
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and initiative taking
  • Proven understanding of the airline and travel industry
  • Pragmatic and result driven with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clear understanding of various markets individuality's
  • Proven understanding of the airline and travel industry
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, fluency in French will be an asset
