For our client, international Biotech company located in Marche-en-Famenne, we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst.

Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst who will observe and monitor the revenue of the organization to ensure increasing trends.

This financial expert will have knowledge of tested and proven strategies and other revenue improvement plans which will enable company earnings to escalate.

He/She will compare both company income and expenditure to determine if the company is making a profit or at a loss.

Other roles include paying close attention to global economic conditions and activities to know what is obtainable at every point in time and advise the company appropriately with a forward-thinking approach.

In order to ensure continuous gains, the individual will consistently communicate with heads of various departments in the company to be aware of their financial strengths and weaknesses.

They will routinely appraise the financial records presented by various department heads, identifying loopholes and areas that need improvement.

With a strong background in business and finance, their responsibilities also include advising management on financial policies, i.e.: eliminating policies that are ineffective, and implementing ones that are effective

Main duties

• Review company financial records
• Check financial records and activities of various departments
• Prepare revenue reports on a regular basis as outlined by management
• Inspect the profitability of contracts and other investments the company wants to embark on and advise accordingly
• Keep records of all monthly and yearly expenses; balance company revenue records on a monthly basis
• Outline ways in which the company can adapt favorably to new and current economic conditions
• Check outstanding ledger accounts and ensure that they are duly collected by clients
• Come up with strategies to control financial decisions and projects embarked upon by the company, to save revenue
• Routinely update management of earnings
• Develop effective revenue policies for company
• COGS recognition process
• Invoicing Process accountable
• Active partner in planning and analyzing sophisticated global projects together with Project managers.
• Collation of financial and operating results to prepare useful tools for management decisions, including relevant Actual VS Budget reports.
• Assistance in the preparation of the company budget business plan and other company documentation for financial and operational aspects of the projects.
• Follow up and analysis of projects and budgets from both a financial and operational perspective

Job requirements

• At least 3 years' experience as FPA in global enterprises
• Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel, including advanced functions
• English fluency
• Availability for overseas travel
• Knowledge of the BIOTECH (Pharma) field - strong advantage
