The Logistics Coordinator, will help evaluate distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products.

Description

You will get following responsibilities:

• Evaluate, select and foster continuous relationships with external transport providers.
• Use limited knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations.
• Analyze and project transportation costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits.
• Provide distribution, transportation and logistical solutions on inbound or outbound movement of raw material and finished product from origin to destination.
• Perform data entry updates in spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts and provide data to more senior team members for further analysis.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
