My client is one of the world's leading electronics companies - you most likely have one or more of their products at home. Originally French company, they are now active worldwide and offer their expertise in electronics across a multitude of segments (B2C distribution, residential, tertiary, government, corporate, etc).For its most strategic business unit, the company is looking for a new Sales Manager to lead and support asmall team of 2 highly qualified technical sales and make that team grow.
As Sales Manager Belgium you are in charge of : - Taking over the management of the 2 Key Account Managers in your team - being a true manager - helping them grow in their respective role while also growing the business. Drawing, based on their insight and your understanding of the market a coherent commercial strategy incorporating new approaches and ideas. And most importantly supporting/inspiring them in handling long & complex sales cycles.- Managing complex long-term sales cycles involving clients from the public and private sectors, distributors, installers and other third party stakeholders. - Acting both a Project manager - to handle long commercial negotiations with your own portfolio of projects - while also leading the development your business unit - working on further improving the commercial strategy through portfolio development
The successful candidate will have: - Minimum 5 to 7 years solution sales experience with complex sales cycles to public and/or private clients (ability to navigate sales cycles involving various stakeholders, public tenders, technical specifications, etc.)- Strong interest into new technologies & related equipment's - a confirmed people management experience - Fluency in Dutch, French & English is mandatory- strong leadership and change management experience - strong commercial drive and results oriented mindset - you are resilient, sharp and creative in finding ways to always reach the goals set. - the ambition to take part to the growth of a strategic department and involve in the global strategy of the business
The successful candidate will receive a competitive gross fixed salary in line with his/her experience and skills.
