Offre d'emploi : Finance & Accounting Manager

For one of our client, we are currently looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager (m-f-x).

Our client is active in the industrial sector.

They are situated in the surrounding of Namur.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Accounting Center, including the finance department and its resources. You will also optimize basic finance processes and ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements together with group requirements(IFRS and Group policies). You will be responsible for monthly closing and group reporting and to act as a business partner to the entities local Business Controllers.

Your main tasks will be the following:

• Ensure financial information is properly prepared and maintained in accordance with local statutory & tax requirements and IFRS & Group policies;
• Make sure basic financial processes (GL&AP&AR) are well managed;
• Implement, maintain and monitor internal control systems to ensure compliance;
• Overseeing month-end close and ensuring timely and accurate corporate and statutory reporting of financials within established timeline. This also includes timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
• Act as liaison with internal/external auditors by fulfilling information requests and managing audit process;
• Proactively be able to communicate finance deviations against targets to stake holders;
• Support the budget and forecast process;
• Work closely with business and functional leaders on process improvements opportunities and standardization of process and systems;
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, customers and suppliers;
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in close collaboration with our Nordic Primary Accounting Center, including reviewing business processes to drive standardization and best practice.
