My client, an international company is active in the automotive sector.

Description

As a Quality Engineer you :

• Are the contact person for the different departments (Production, Logistics, Research & Development, suppliers, etc.) concerning the parts for which you are responsible.
• Are based on the laboratory and measurement centre analyses, you analyse the cause of problems in collaboration with the supplier, ensure an immediate solution as well as
  corrective actions to prevent the defect.
• Ensure the processing of claims to suppliers, including reporting and financial burden of costs.
• Liaise with the Research & Development department for the implementation of product and process improvement proposals.
• Perform technical reviews for monitoring improvement programs until
  the quality is guaranteed.

Profile

As a Quality Engineer you :

• Have a master's degree in chemistry/ science of automotive materials or technology, or equivalent by experience.
• Have analytical skills, excellent research skills
• Are persistent and have good persuasive skills.
• Your work is well organised and structured - you conduct reports and analyses clear results.
• Are assertive and diplomatic in negotiating with suppliers and internal customers.
• Are fluent in French and/or Dutch. Knowledge of English is a trump card.
